Chefs have a key role on how the general public can change their perspective on new food alternatives and how to improve the sustainability of the oceans. Hands-on from Spanish Michelin-starred chefs towards sustainability and excellence
The event took place on a estero, a natural salt pond where fish and seafood are often trapped. Traditionally, fishermen would catch those fish towards the end of the season, around October, when the fish and seafood had a determined weight and had reached maturity. The Michelin starred chefs, with waterproof overalls, became fishermen for a day and tried catching fish with simple nets, old style.
The main purpose of this event was to make the public aware of the problems we will face in the nearby future, where chefs have a key role on how the general public can change their perspective on new food alternatives and how to improve the sustainability of the oceans. Hands-on from Spanish Michelin-starred chefs towards sustainability and excellence. Isn't it as inspiring as mouth-watering?
