Some of the main reasons given by the organisation for the event to be held in Malaga were, amongst others, the excellent location of the city, its international airport and the great port and cruise terminals. Over the last few years, the port has bloomed, even welcoming the “Symphony of the Seas”, the world’s largest cruise.
The event, who will take place between the 15th and 17th September 2020, will be based at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Malaga (FYCMA), the city’s Congress Centre, located right outside the city, only 15 minutes away from the city centre and less than 15 minutes away from the airport, guaranteeing ease of movement for all attendees and visitors.
It will be, without a doubt, a great networking opportunity within the cruise sector and a fantastic chance for Malaga to show its full potential.
The city of Malaga has undergone a radical transformation in recent years, mainly thanks to the pedestrianization of its old town, the expansion of its port, becoming a great area for both leisure and shopping and, last but not least, the opening of important international museums, such as the Pompidou Museum, the Picasso Museum or the Russian Museum of Saint Petersburg.
