We cannot believe it has been a year already since our summer holidays 2019 post. Many things have happened both in the events industry and worldwide over the last 12 months. Some were very good, such as the incentive trips and golf stays we have organised in our beloved Andalusia; but others were not as good, as the impact of Covid-19 has been very negative for the tourism industry all over the world.
Just a few lines to let you know that Meridional Events will take a break from our weekly blog post until September. We will be recharging our batteries and preparing more articles and posts about the newest MICE trends.
Our office will remain open for business, except on the 15th of August, a Spanish bank holiday. We do hope all our clients, suppliers and friends will enjoy a well-deserved break and the best possible holidays.

- At the very beginning of the year, we talked about our new website. A very exciting project that has allowed Meridional Events to position itself as a leading DMC in Andalusia.
- Besides the new trends in tourism, we also care about other aspects of the meetings and events industry. In this post, we talk about how conflict resolution can be addressed differently, in a more practical and beneficial way.
- One of our more special posts this year was our Q&A session with Impact English School in Melbourne, Australia. Patricia, our Director of Sales, kindly helped one of our clients, who is an English as a second language teacher, with her English for Business class.
- We also gave you some tips about healthy eating habits when working from home and 7 tips for working from home. These posts were very popular due to the global situation we are in, at the moment.
- Because we could not go out, we decided to bring you the best virtual visits in Andalusia, but also the best monuments in Spain, as well as an amazing virtual itinerary of Madrid and Barcelona.
- And last, but not least, we explain why Andalusia is a safe destination and all the measures already in place to guarantee a perfect stay.
