Andalusia is lucky enough to cater for everyone. Endless beaches, historic cities and towns, deserts, ski resorts, just enough to please even the demanding traveller.
Sierra Nevada, Europe’s Southernmost ski resort, is 45 minutes away from Granada and less than 90 minutes from the Mediterranean
One of the most unique features of Andalusia can be found in Granada, and we are not talking about the magnificent Alhambra, but the mountain range of Sierra Nevada. Sierra Nevada is the highest peak of continental Spain and third highest in Europe and is the perfect ski resort for the snow lovers. The most interesting feature of Sierra Nevada is its location, only 100 km away from the Mediterranean seaside, meaning you could ski in the morning and practise watersports in the afternoon, a true winter wonderland.
Sierra Nevada is the perfect location for the MICE sector, whether it is an incentive trip -a wide variety of sports and activities can be organised outdoors, a business meeting or other corporate events, making the most of the meeting spaces available up in the mountain, catering up to 240 pax in theatre style. Also, excursions to nearby Granada or Malaga can be arranged. Dare to be different and surprise your delegates with a ski working meeting or conference in Europe’s most southerly ski resort.
A second approach could be hosting your event in Granada, with all the facilities of the city, including more than 40 4* and 5* hotels and its impressive Conference Centre with a capacity up to 2,000 delegates.
Both Sierra Nevada and Granada are served by Granada’s airport, flying to many European destinations. Malaga’s airport is also located less than 90 minutes away by dual carriage road and by high-speed train.
