With more than 325 days of sunshine a year, it is not surprising that the Costa del Sol is a reference location for millions of tourists who visit us every year.

It has been scientifically proven that the absence of sun causes a lack of good mood and sadness, so the Costa del Sol is a magnificent remedy to combat this problem. It was not casual stating some time ago that we have the best climate for hosting any type of corporate event.

In addition to the good weather almost all year round, we have to include the incredible leisure and gastronomic offer, in a safe environment and with high-quality facilities and infrastructures, suitable for the most demanding corporate events, incentives or almost unlimited team building activities. And the leisure offer of the Costa del Sol grows every year.

On the other hand, the Costa del Sol is present at WTM London 2021, an exhibition where we have been present on previous occasions. The presence of the Costa del Sol Tourism Board – of which Meridional Events is a proud member, revolves around Harry Potter and his literary universe, inviting you to travel to the Costa del Sol through his magic.

This action is part of the “Digital out of Home” strategy, which, with 500 screens, promotes the Costa del Sol in the streets of London showing attractive images of the destination. The link between the United Kingdom and Andalusia and the Costa del Sol goes back several centuries and has brought great mutual benefit to both societies.

The Costa del Sol Tourist Board is present at WTM London 2021 in conjunction with Turismo de Andalucía. Turismo de Andalucía is not only present at the exhibition, but it has carried out a series of promotional activities in other parts of the British capital, such as the Westfield Stratford shopping centre.

The aim of these scheduled activities, which include dance, flamenco, and gastronomic tastings, is to encourage the British public to enjoy Andalusia as their favourite destination. The fact is that Andalusia offers unique locations for everyone to enjoy, and to enjoy all kinds of events. These locations include world-class locations such as the Costa del Sol, Malaga and Marbella, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, and other lesser-known places, but equally prepared to satisfy the most demanding visitor.
