The Best Congress and Conference Centres in Andalusia

The options for meeting and events space in Andalusia are endless. There are a large number of hotels, resorts, venues and private palaces that offer that much-needed space, with different décors, styles, capacities and locations.

However, there are some spaces that stand out above everything else, and these are the 19 state-of-the-art Congress and Conference Centres located in each capital of Andalusia , especially those located in Seville, Malaga and Granada, which are within the best ones in Spain.

Seville Conference Centre (FIBES)

In Seville, the visitor will find Fibes, the city's impressive Conference Centre. Fibes is composed of two buildings, Fibes I and Fibes II, completely independent from one another in terms of style and function.

Fibes I was designed to host large exhibitions and trade fairs, with three exhibition halls of 7,200 m2 each with no pillars at all and service boxes every 8 metres. These three halls are linked by a wide corridor to the conference centre building, where the 2 auditoria and breakout rooms are to be found.

Fibes II has three outdoor exhibition areas and three indoor exhibition areas, as well as 15 breakout rooms on level 3. This module hosts the state-of-the-art Auditorium which has a maximum capacity for 3,200 people and a 620 m2 stage. The Auditorium can be divided into 2 or 3 simultaneous auditoria with capacities for 1,950 (central stalls) and 700 people (upper part of the auditorium) or 1,950, 340 and 400 people.

Fibes is one of the pillars of Seville when it comes to host large international events.

Malaga Conference Centre (FYCMA)

Moving on to Malaga, we can find FYCMA, the city's modern Exhibition and Conference Centre, located only 10 minutes from the city centre. Space consists of 60,000 m2, with a functional and highly specialized design in which Mediterranean tradition meets 21st-century avant-garde.

There is an exhibition area of 19,500 m2 divided into several areas. The centre also features two auditoriums with a capacity of circa 1,500 people, two conference rooms, an exhibition hall, fifteen multipurpose rooms, various catering spaces and a parking area with capacity for 1,200 vehicles. These facilities can accommodate up to 20,000 people.

Granada Conference Centre (PCGR)

In Granada, the visitor will find an outstanding Conference Centre, located 10 minutes away on foot from Granada’s historic city centre.

The building hosts a total of 28 different rooms, with different set-ups and capacities. The main room, which can host 2,000 people, is located at the centre of the building with a semi-circular form to adapt to the geometry of the premises. The building also has soundproofing in order to isolate sounds, allowing events to be held simultaneously in different spaces.
