Red carpet time!
The city of Malaga will welcome very soon the 21st edition of the Festival de Cine de Malaga [SP], that will take place from 13th until 22nd April this year.
Malaga is always a good choice when it comes to events, due to its wide variety of outstanding 4* and 5* hotels, excellent gastronomy, marvellous weather throughout the year and a large number of conference rooms to cater for all your MICE requests
The first edition of the festival took place in 1998, and it was born with the goal of promoting the cinema and the cinematographic industry in Spanish language, being the meeting point for the Spanish and Latin American film industry. This year, the recently Oscar-winner director Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth) will receive the Malaga Award for his extensive and successful professional career.
During this edition, a total of 19 films will be projected, some of them belong to the official programme while others are out of competition. The projection tickets, for those interested, can be bought in different locations all around the city. As every year, everyone can attend the projections and, with a bit of luck, even see some of Spain and Latin America’s most notorious actors, actresses and artists.
The city changes completely during those days, with a number of cultural activities, red carpets laid around the city centre and visitors from all over the world. This appointment is particularly important for the city of Malaga, not only for the economic impact it generates, but also for the projection and publicity in worldwide media it entails.
Malaga is always a good choice when it comes to corporate events, due to its wide variety of outstanding 4* and 5* hotels, excellent gastronomy, marvellous weather throughout the year and a large number of conference rooms to cater for all your MICE and corporate events.
Do not hesitate to contact Meridional Events, we will be delighted to help you with all your corporate events in Malaga and elsewhere in Andalusia.
