The summer holidays are over, and we have really enjoyed our Andalusian summer -although we will enjoy summerlike weather for some more months in here. There have been plenty of countless hours soaking up the sun, endless evenings and a lot of al fresco dining, leading to some long nights with friends as well.
But it is now September, and after the summer -and so many months of uncertainty and hard work, it is now the moment to restart the MICE sector not just in Andalusia but worldwide -stronger than ever!
Spain is speeding up the vaccination against coronavirus, and we are among the fastest European countries in doing so, with more than 70% of the population fully protected at the time of writing this post. This process, along with the EU Digital COVID Certificate -formerly the European Digital Green Certificate, is the key to leave this pandemic behind.
At Meridional Events, we have been working hard all along this period, upgrading our systems and procedures in order to provide you with even better service! A prove of this is that we have been recently awarded by an independent panel as the Best Destination Management Company in Andalusia in 2021 -stay tuned for more details on this as we will talk about it further in coming posts.
And talking about posts, we also have some news to share with you. We have been weekly publishing our blog for the last three years. It has been as exciting as demanding, and we have told you about the latest news in the South of Spain related to the MICE sector and other information that we thought could be of your interest.
Starting today, we will publish our blog on a biweekly basis. This decision will let us enhance our digital presence in other social media such as Linkedin and Instagram.
Our digital presence in Linkedin has been regular and consistent from the very first moment, but we would like to reinforce it and consolidate our position.
With regards to Instagram, we think it could be fun if we show you those hidden details from each of our main destinations in Andalusia, an unexpected point of view that will help you discover a different perspective of Southern Spain. These pictures might be used for team building activities once in Andalusia -e.g. a gymkhana or a treasure hunt, or just as an incentive to pay attention to those hidden secrets that each city keeps once you are here with us.
This new approach has just one target in mind: to connect more and better with all our customers (and potential customers) and to show you/them why Andalusia is the best place to host any corporate event. Andalusia is more than ever a safe destination, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, rich culture and gastronomy and enviable weather all year round.
