November is fast approaching and, in the travel industry, this could only mean World Travel Market. World Travel Market, also known as WTM, is one of the world's most important tourism and travel trade events.
Since 1980, it has taken place in London every November and attracts more than 51,000 tourism professionals from over 182 countries. This year, it will take place from the 9th until the 11th of November.
Because 2020 wanted to challenge us and make things a bit more complicated for our industry, amongst others, this year WTM will be virtual. We will for sure miss seeing old and new industry friends, meeting our new customers face to face and enjoying a great show. However, we are sure our expectations will be met and, in 2021, we will meet in London again. This year, we will make the most of these virtual meetings - for sure it will be way quicker than ever to jump from one meeting to another.
Meridional Events exhibits within the stand of Visit Costa del Sol, VB87, and we are looking forward to being part of the show on its 2020 edition. We will share the stand with other fantastic companies, venues and attractions at the Costa del Sol. Together, we will promote and showcase our beautiful destination and all it has to offer - the best one to celebrate your events.
