How to get to Malaga
If you want to arrive in Malaga for your next corporate or MICE event, Malaga airport is the main gateway, both to Malaga and to Andalusia. In 2019, it received 20 million passengers, making it the 3rd most important airport in Spain mainland and the 20th in the European Union. It welcomed 85% of all international visitors to Andalusia.
The airport connects Malaga, and therefore Andalusia, to more than 100 European cities and over 20 other Spanish destinations on a daily basis. Some other relevant destinations include New York, Montreal and Kuwait.
Its fantastic location, just 15 minutes away from Malaga city centre, allows reaching any point of interest within minutes. It is also located only 5 minutes away from Malaga’s FYCMA, the city’s congress and conference centre.
How to get to Marbella
If you want to celebrate your event in Marbella, Malaga airport is also your best choice. Marbella is located just 35 minutes from Malaga airport and, as mentioned above, links the area to over 100 European cities.
Gibraltar airport could also be a choice if you are travelling to Marbella, it connects Gibraltar with the most important British cities. In 2019, Gibraltar airport welcomed around 500,000 visitors.
How to get to Seville
Seville airport is the main gateway for your events in Seville. In 2019 it welcomed 7.5 million passengers, making it the second most important airport of Andalusia, after Malaga airport.
It links Seville to more than 40 European cities and nearly 20 Spanish cities. Located on the outskirts of the city, it allows all visitors to reach Seville city centre in just 10 minutes. It also ideally located 5 minutes from FIBES, Seville congress and conference centre.
Another option, located two hours away, is Faro airport (in Portugal). Welcoming over 9 million passengers, it links the area with around 50 European destinations.
How to get to Granada
Granada benefits from its own airport, located 20 minutes from the city centre, as well as from Granada’s first-class congress and conference centre.
Granada airport, yet small in size, it welcomes 1.2 million people yearly and connects Granada with several European destinations, as well as more than 10 Spanish destinations.
Also, Malaga airport is just 90 minutes away, linking Granada to more than 100 European cities.
How to get to the Costa del Sol
The whole area of Costa del Sol – an ideal location for all Corporate Events, and stretching from Malaga to Marbella, approximately, also benefits from Malaga airport, although Gibraltar airport should be another option to consider.
